Waste to Carbon

Waste-to-carbon, also known as "waste-to-energy", is a process that converts waste materials into a form of energy, typically in the form of of carbon-based materials, such as biochar, which can be used as a soil amendment to improve soil fertility and crop productivity. It is a process that involves heating the waste in the absence of oxygen, this converts the organic matter into a highly porous, carbon-rich material that can be used as a soil amendment.

Waste to carbon processes can help to reduce the amount of waste that is sent to landfills, and can also help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by substituting fossil fuels with a more sustainable energy source.

Carbek offers waste-to-carbon services. We help organizations and communities to convert their waste into a valuable resource, such as energy or carbon-based materials. We provide a range of technologies depending on the type and composition of the waste, such as combustion, gasification, and pyrolysis. These technologies convert the waste into a mixture of gases that can be used as fuel for power generation or other industrial processes.

By working with us, organizations can reduce their waste disposal costs, increase their energy efficiency and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions while contributing to the sustainable management of resources.
